Update!

So life has been pretty hectic lately! I am in a new semester of college, and I decided to take on 5 classes this time. Boy is it insane! I didn't think it would be that hard since I took four last semester and it was a piece of cake, but this is a whole new ball game. Once I finish one assignment i have another, and it just goes on and on. It never ends! I'm hanging in there though!

So on the home-front things are changing. Josh and I are getting ready to move to our own place. With Mamaws cancer in remission she doesn't need someone here all the time anymore. While I hate to leave her, I am so ready for us to be on our own again! It will be so nice to just be me, josh, and bear again. I am worried Bear will have a hard time adjusting because he gets sad when he is away from his brother Charlie (which is my mamaws dog) for too long. He will get used to it in time though.

On the beauty related stuff, nothing much interesting to talk about. It has been pretty basic lately. I put on foundation, powder, blush, mascara, and eyeliner. Thats about the jest of it. I always have eos lipbalm, so thats it for lips. I am excited about the Great and Powerful OZ palettes from Urban Decay! I am ordering them this week when we get out school loans and taxes in. I love anything Oz! I love the Wizard of Oz, and I have been in love with Wicked for a while now! So I am pumped about the palettes and the movie!

But thats about it everybody! I hope you have a great rest of the day!

Fourth Wedding Anniversary!

So Josh and I have been married for four years. Sometimes it doesn't seem that long, and then other times it seems like a lot longer! While it has been a bumpy road getting to this point, I wouldn't trade it for anything! He is still my best friend, and the person I can't wait to talk to and see everyday!

We have our fair share of fights, but I would rather fight with him then be with anyone else. I know as time goes on we will have some more rough times, but I look forward to many more years together.

Hospital, Stress, and Eating Out

Life for the last week has been crazy! Last Sunday night, mamaw couldn't breathe, her blood pressure was very high, her head, chest, and right arm were numb. So we called and an ambulance came to get her. She was going to have a stroke, but luckily that got to her in time. She was admitted in to the hospital, where she has been ever since. They finally got most of the fluid off of her, about seventeen pounds worth of flood. They had to stop chemo and radiation until they can get her red blood cell count back up. We are hoping that she will be able to start back on treatment soon, and come home sometime this week. She looks a lot better, but she still has a long way to go.

So all that happened late Sunday night, and I had my first day of class at 8:30 the next morning. Needless to say I was and have been very stressed! Classes went great however. I love the way they are set up. I have Math, then go directly to Math Lab, Then I stay in the same classroom for my Computers class, I go home for two hours, and then head back for my last class. So I have a break to come home, let the pups out, and have lunch. I have been leaving from school to go over to the hospital when I am done with class.

I needed to start my insulin resistance diet, but with everything going on it is almost impossible. It is a lot easier to pick something up since I am basically on the run all day. Hopefully when see gets home, I can start on it. Wish me luck ;)

One Long, but Sort Of Good Day

So today, my hunny took a PTO day from work so he could take me to the hospital. I got up this morning and my ankle was a lot worse, and I couldn't walk on it. He took me to the hospital and it is a severe sprained ankle, and they won't me to stay off of it because it could break very easily. Which is not what I need right now, that's for sure!

After that we went to walmart to drop off my prescription I got from the hospital and to do some shopping. I needed some more stuff for school, but my love surprised me and told me to pick out a new laptop, and let me get some other stuff too! He is the best! I love him, and he has been taking such good care of me! Well we were going to get Macbooks from this student financing plan, but we decided we didn't want another payment right now, but we may use the money they approved us for later.

Mamaw had chemo again today, and they started her radiation today as well. They said she did an awesome job. They gave her a Xanax for her stress and pain, and boy let me tell you she is hilarious! I am just glad that they are doing treatment, she isn't in pain, and that they are so wonderful with her.
Today has been a very tiring and painful (physically) for me, but it has been a great day too!

Emergency, Chemo, and Radiation

So today I took mamaw to get blood work done at the cancer center. They check her blood pressure and the alarms went off. It was 215 over 130. Very dangerous, very very high! They called her in to talk to the nurse and she had them to draw blood, and give her a blood pressure pill to get it down.

Well the nurse didn't like how swelled she was, and that her breathing was getting worse so she called us in to talk to the radiation doctor. He went over the pet scan with us, and there was some bad news, and some kind of good news. The tumor had grown so much that it has wrapped itself around one of the main arteries in her chest. It could cause her to have a stroke, or go into heart failure. That is what is causing the swelling, the loss of breathe, and the high blood pressure. He said we had to move very quickly, that it was an emergency and they would have to start both chemo, and radiation today!

I am so relieved that they started treatment, and I am so glad that this doctor was pissed that all the other doctors hadn't done anything yet. He said by looking at her anyone could see that they needed to start treatment quickly.

She had her first session of chemo today, she will have two more this week. They marked her for radiation today, and will begin it tomorrow. They will be doing chemo three times a week, and radiation every day.
