Crappy Service

Is it just me or does it seem like people are too busy to give you good service anymore?

Stores are really bad about good customer service now. Sales employees are supposed to be there to help you, but that's not the case anymore. If you need help with something, they act like you are rude for asking, or that you are inconveniencing them.  I work retail and that is not how I treat people. I want them to enjoy coming to shop with us, because If it wasn't for the customer's the store wouldn't be there. I know that it isn't hard to give good customer service. Just be friendly, and treat people the way you would want to be treated.

I mean its not just in stores anymore. My post office is awful. I have had two lost packages in the last 3 months, and they never give me my mail on time. It seems like it just sets there. I am so aggravated, and their negligence with my package is making me look bad! I am so mad about the whole situation and they don't even care. I remember when they would do anything to help you, but now they could careless.

I can't imagine why people choose to act this way. If they would just simply do their jobs correctly the first time, they wouldn't have to deal with complaints and everyone would be much happier. It would make their jobs easier really, so why don't they just help themselves out and do things correctly.

Great News!

We are getting even closer to moving into our new house and I am so very excited. I love it, everything about it except for the carpet! I hate carpet, but that can be changed. We will be putting in all hard wood! I just can't wait to get in our house, and really start making it ours!

Praying for Someone

Even though my friend and I are on rocky terms, she is in need of prayer. While we may not be on the same page with things, I will always care about her and want the best for her. If you are reading this and you believe in the Lord, please pray for her.

Friends Change

When you grow up, sometimes the people you were friends with before aren't your friends anymore. I hate to admit that, but It's the truth. You can in my case for instance, be friends with someone since the second grade and then realize 14 years later that you aren't going to have a friendship for very much longer.
The person I am talking about is someone that I thought I would have in my life forever, but Now I know it would be in our best interest to part ways. We are going in two different directions in our lives, and while that should be fine and dandy.... I am getting judged for my decisions! I am married and want to take the steps in building a wonderful future for myself and my husband.
While in her case she wants to party and stuff all the time.
That is not what me and my husband are about. Sure we enjoy our occasional night out, but not every night of the week. I don't judge her or tell her not to party, so I don't see why she would look down on us for wanting to be responsible, mature adults.
I have also learned a very important lesson. Married people and single people should not live together. We all moved in together after somethings happened at her moms house and she didn't feel comfortable living there anymore, or feel her four year old daughter should be growing up there.So my husband and I talked about it and decided we would ask them to live with us. Well needless to say several months later we are going our separate ways.
My mamaw always said you don't truly know someone until you live with them. I found this to be true. She is not the person I thought she was. While I will miss her little girl so much, we just have to go different ways. We have found a house and we are moving. while I would like to say we will remain friends after moving, at this point however I highly doubt that will happen.

Growing up

Most often people grow up physically before they ever grow up mentally. It would be ideal if we all matured mentally and physically at the same time. Unluckily it doesn't happen that way.
While I have been married now for 3 years, I haven't actually grown up that much until the last year. I think of the reasons why and it would have to be because I was so young when I married my husband, as was he. We were both eighteen and fresh out of school.
While we went trough rough times that would mature anyone, we still didn't really grow from it. I believe that is because my parents were always there to fix things. We never worried much about anything because we knew we had them to help us.
While I appreciated the help I know understand that it certainly didn't help us mature.
If we had to deal with our problems on our own I believe we would have grown up and matured a lot sooner.
My parents are still around to help us from time to time, but I realized we need to fix our own problems. I am a lot more stressed doing things that way, but I have new sense of pride knowing that we can handle things on our own.
